Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is based on the principle of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Many meridians either begin or end on the face while some have internal branches that go to the face. Thus, practitioners of facial rejuvenation acupuncture know how to specifically affect the face while simultaneously treating the underlying factors that contribute to the aging process.
Facial rejuvenation acupuncture involves the superficial insertion of hair-thin needles, which stimulates both blood and energy to the face, thereby nourishing and moistening the skin. Keeping in mind that every person is different, treatment plans range from 10-14 sessions, usually once or twice a week. Best results are seen with twice a week frequency. Maintenance sessions monthly are recommended to help results last longer.
Please note: facial rejuvenation acupuncture appointments differ from regular acupuncture appointments in length and fees. 60 minute facial rejuvenation session
